Emergency assistance offered through our Family Support Center includes:
- Food (USDA commodities and links to food pantry vouchers)
- Utilities assistance
- Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) information and referral
- Rental and mortgage assistance
- Prescription assistance
The majority of programs are limited to low-income Woonsocket residents. Proof of residency and income are required. Click here for list of Required Documentation to bring to the Center.
Location: 245 Main Street Woonsocket, RI.
Hours: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9:00 – 11:30 am & 1:00 – 4:00 pm; Tuesdays 9:00 – 11:30 am & 1:00 - 3:00 pm and Thursdays 9:00 – 11:30 am & 1:00 - 6:00 pm.

Emergency Housing is available for families and individuals through the Woonsocket Homeless Shelter For more information call 401-767- 0866.
The Agape Permanent Supportive Housing Program offers housing for persons who are homeless, low-income, and living with HIV/AIDS. For more information or to apply for Agape housing, contact Carlos Ramirez at 767-0866 or cramirez@famresri.org
